Mary Jane at Winter Park, CO – Trails We Love – Outside Today

To pick a favorite mogul run in Mary Jane is like going into a candy store and picking your favorite candy, but Outhouse is definitely the biggest, the longest, the steepest. If there's one run where you want to measure your mogul skiing ability, you have to do Outhouse, the signature run on Mary Jane. When you look up from the Mary Jane base lodge, all you see is a long ribbon of bumps coming all the way down from the top to the bottom, one solid pitch.

Outhouse is just long and there's no escape. you can't even go off and make a couple of little flat turns, there's no flat spots to stop, you're just gonna hammer down the whole thing. It's steep hardcore moguls the whole way down top to bottom and it feels like you've gone a mile and a half of mogul skiing by the time you get to the bottom.
